Quick! My Bro needs a funny line to text to his ex!?

My brother & his girlfriend are trying to remain friendly and he wants her back pretty bad. She's feeling a little smothered because he tries to call/text her too often. Today he had a momentary lapse of judgement and left her a voice mail and she texted back something along the lines of "what is it now?". He realizes his mistake and I think he needs a funny text message to send back conveying "my bad, I shouldn't have bothered you today." I was thinking something like "I won the lottery, had tons of news crew over here & just wanted to let you know B4 you saw it on the news...ok I'm lying, just had a momentary lapse of judgement, sorry I bothered you." So what do you all think he should say in his text message?
