What could be the reason for my sense of good taste vanishing?

I used to have good taste its gone, whats happened? I don't know how to get it back either. Its making me upset because I bought a load of various vases brought them back home and thought what the hell have I bought all mismatched colours they where horrid I would never of got these in the past lets say few months ago but my sense of good taste has gone and vulgar things seem to be in mt grip to buy then I bring it home and it looks horrendous whats happening how do I correct this?
