If all the laid-off and unemployed started working at McDonald's, would there be US cons that belittled them?

Hey watch you silly mouth, my nephew works at McDonald's as it IS the only job he could get, but at least he is trying to feed his family, unlike all those out there that wouldn't soil their shoes doing this.But he has some pride and maybe he doesn't make a lot of money they are making it, so lay off.Most of the people that still haven't found a job is because they think they are too good to work there or other places.They rather stay at home and either get welfare or unemployment.Its called pride where I come from.
